Highlights from EASTEC 2008
June 3, 2008
At the annual EASTEC Trade Show held this year on May 20th through 22nd, Caron Engineering had the opportunity to demonstrate some new features and add-ons of its popular Tool Monitoring Adaptive Control (TMAC) and AutoComp products. Listed below are some of the highlights:
- Demonstration of TMAC Monitor - an add-on to the standard TMAC solution that allows for remote monitoring of any CNC machines with a TMAC system installed via a standard network.
- Remote monitoring was demonstrated with a Tsugami TMU Mill/Turn machine, Okuma Multus Mill/Turn machine, and Morisiki V4020 vertical machining center. Each of these machines had TMAC installed and transmitted data via wireless Ethernet to the Caron Engineering booth where the data was collected and any of the machines could be monitored.
- Caron Engineering also demonstrated Part View, an add-on to AutoComp that allows the customer to produce JPEG images of any part, and display current measurement and tool compensation status on the image, giving the operator an easy to read view.
Caron Engineering would like to thank all of the customers and vendors who stopped by our booth at the show and we look forward working with you to meet your advanced machining needs. We'll see you there next year.
